Hi there
The Columbia Summer Program is just a week away and I’m really excited!! Columbia has always been my dream school so I can’t wait for this program. But, I still don’t want to just take this program and never see Columbia again. Do you think its worth thinking about admissions at Columbia, based on taking the summer program? And I don’t mean based SOLELY on the program, but still, is there a greater chance of getting in, with the advantage of taking the course??

No, I did it last year, it was fun and all but not worth the money. The letter recs are rather generic, but your chances don’t increase at all- mainly because if you have the money you are almost guaranteed in (only one friend of mine did not get it).

Nanotechnology Session II anyone? :D

It doesn’t help at all; it hurts you.

Hi! I am attending the Nanotechnology class this Summer. How were the classes and what are your overall thoughts about the program? And did you live there?
