I'm simply looking for someone to give examples for "required readings" - does this phrase refer to works of literature that were a part of our prescribed school curriculum ?</p>

<p>yes, it means the books that you were required to read because of school. like, if you read romeo and juliet in class, that’s a required reading that you would put down, if you enjoyed it that is.</p>
