<p>No offense, but you truly do not stand a chance amongst the thousands of 2250+ SAT’s who have applied to Columbia. Your GPA does not help you out in the case as well. Be realistic, there’s a reason why Columbia has ony 10% admittance, and reject perfect SAT’s and 4.0 GPA’s every year, so why should you get in when these overqualified candidates are rejected? Unless you have some outstanding extracurricular activity which can make you stand out, the only advice I can offer you is, sadly, start looking at other schools.</p>
<p>I’m not trying to be cruel, but simply honest. I do not want to bolster your confidence so high that you will inevitably crash come decisions day. Of course, I am not a Columbia ad com member and in no way can my words exactly match those given to you by the admissions office. However, since I have looked at pretty much all the decisions threads on all the Ivy Leagues from '12-'14, I can offer, somewhat, of an accurate prediction on your chances.</p>
