<p>when i were looking at Columbia acceptees 06' , i found out they didnt even accept any single junior applicant besides a gal from Banard. and i am wondering if this is just a coincidence...i searched on their website..and got the feeling that they favor sophomore transfer also since they want students take most of the Core and major courses there...any inputs on this? thanks = )</p>

<p>As long as the student is able to complete the core ( which is feasible) Columbia wouldn’t be biased against them. As long as the student isn’t applying to SEAS without having at least 3 years of calc or something of the sort, there shouldn’t be much of a problem.</p>
<p>I would suggest contacting admissions and asking them implicitly.</p>
