Received an acknowledgment of the email update sent in. Anyone else get an email?

When do the offers start rolling in? First week of May?
Last year the first wave of accepted students got emails on Friday May 12th. Assuming they always do it on a Friday, it’d be the 11th this year.
I called yesterday and I was told that if they consider using the waitlist we will be informed no earlier than May 15 and no later than June 30
i didn’t get an acknowledgement for my LOCI email that i sent 3 weeks ago ;// should i be worried?
My D got an auto-reply as soon as she sent her email letter in that confirmed they received it and it would be processed.
@andyarrgz i also sent mine a while ago but haven’t gotten a confirmation email or anything like that. are you going to call admissions to ask about it?

I sent mine in and received an auto reply, like Pusheen1 said. But the first time I sent it it actually didn’t go through (It wasn’t in my sent inbox and i didn’t receive the processing email), so I sent it again
what do you guys think about the possibility of Columbia NOT using the waitlist this year? All the people I know got accepted by Columbia have committed so I have been really stressed out these days…
Anyon know: does Columbia not allow/discourage against an additional recommendation letter?
@grundeis they mentioned that it won’t help your chances at all.
@gkyfiona on the other hand, most people I know that got into Columbia aren’t going… it’s hard to tell from just the people you know. In the meantime, let’s keep our fingers crossed

@ambkeegan 9 people, but I don’t think any one of them did engineering, sorry
Does anyone know if Columbia is going to be officially utilizing their waitlist?
@ambkeegan My S attended admit day and he heard atleast 5 admitted to engineering are not planning to attend.
@california32146 Thank you! I did talk to our college counselor who called the rep for our area and she got there were so many qualified applicants talk… hopefully his LOC helps also. He found a specific class he was interested in, a volunteer program in which he tied into his volunteering with younger children, and his interests in the liberal arts area specifically the areas and books read. He also provided an update on a couple of organizations/EC’s
The Columbia class of 2022 facebook page has 1637 members…this number is very low given their 2000 class size.
Columbia class of 2021 has 1758 members… I think there is hope guys!!
What do you guys think: how many admitted students don’t use facebook?
