Columbia University chances

Hi!
So I applied regular decision to Columbia Economics and have been wondering what chances are of getting in, realistically. I have a 4.3 at my school which offers about 12 AP's, my school is ranked in the top 5% in California. I took two AP's and got a 3 and 5 and I am in 3 AP's this year and got a 4.4 first semester. AP Macroeconomics A+ I am half Mexican, and have been lucky to have lived in Hong Kong, (for 5 years, including freshman year) Puerto Rico, and Germany. I'm hoping this will look good to them. I have a bit over 250 community service hours. I am the Vice-President of Safe Rides at my school, in National Honors Society, and am Co-president of Teen Korps, a national organization with a chapter in my town. I have been on the tennis team for three years, been on varsity for 2. I got a 32 on the ACT, 30 in English, 34 in Math, 34 in Reading, 30 in science, and 9 on the essay. I have had a job throughout high school, working about 20 hours a week. I also received the National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar award from college board.
I just want to know from everyone if they think I actually stand a chance at getting in, hopefully for some piece of mind cus im freaking out! ahaha

Hi there! I am sorry but no one can chance you except Columbia’s Adcoms. I think you have pretty decent stats. Don’t you think that ACT is but low for Columbia. Still go for it and write an amazing commonapp essay and your app can make a difference. Good luck :D

@ahtesham yeah i guess my ACT is low, but on College board they say the average is between a 31-34, so hopefully it doesn’t hurt me too bad!

Ofcourse not! You are pretty good applicant and i know you are competitive with your Scholar award. Good luck with COlumbia

@ahtesham thank you!!

Bump bump bump
