I was recently invited to apply to Columbia University and after a talk with their admission office I feel like I have a good chance of getting in, but I wanted to know what people have to say about their computer science program.
What makes them unique beside them being an Ivy?
What do you find most appealing about Columbia University?
How is their computer science program better or worse then others?

For class of 2019 or 2020?
What makes them unique beside them being an Ivy?
You can find the answer to this question in countless threads. Number one answer: being in New York City.
What do you find most appealing about Columbia University?
Student body is passionate about many things, being in NYC, etc. Also in very many threads.
How is their computer science program better or worse then others?
It's pretty much a top 15 program (for grad school, at the undergrad level those rankings are somewhat meaningless), and the faculty has some very famous names to it. It's a very very good program and the student groups involved with CS are very knowledgeable. Again, you can find more on this by searching online.
Columbia is pretty much a top school in every discipline. Columbia has a huge Engineering school in addition to all the computer science offered in the college.
