I read back through the archives and found that there was talk on a group chat. I’m interested – anyone taken initiative on that yet?
@nickyflash no i dont think anyone has started a groupchat. what would we use it for though? all of us already applied, and isnt this forum essentially like a groupchat?
I know this is a bit unrelated, but has anyone seen/is planning to see Lady Bird? I just got back from watching it by myself (first film I’ve ever gone to by myself) and I thought it was amazing. Columbia is one of the schools Lady Bird applies to and the whole senior in high school trying to leave home for the east coast/financial struggle story line hit so close to home. I know the story takes place in Sacramento (smaller city than my Chicago), but it just hit all the marks of what’s going on in my life right now with high school and applying to college.
Again, sorry that this post is a bit unrelated, but I think that some of you would appreciate the film.
@bagelboy I really want to see Lady Bird because l love the actress who plays her, but unfortunately none of the theaters near me are playing it 
@bagelboy It seems like a fine way to take our minds off the wait. If it inspires you then that is a good thing; fingers crossed for you. I’m hoping to see it this weekend. Fortunately, I live in the DC area so it is playing at nearly every theatre.
Any idea - When do the ED results start pouring in?
I’d assume (based on last year) that they’ll start rolling out the week of Dec 11th. Or just release all decisions on the 15th
Funny you say Lady Bird, @bagelboy. I’m from Sacramento, and the movie is based off of my school! Watched the movies a couple days ago and it was amazing – highly recommend. (while also accurately portraying our school life.) Greta Gerwig likes to visit occasionally.
@1984ad I suppose the original intention was to familiarize ourselves with one another…? But at this point, I agree, possibly with creating a group chat after the ED results come out.
@rickandmorty22 If they switch to Monday releases, then probably Dec 11. If they stick with the pattern they’d formerly followed, then probably Dec 7.

How was your interview??? My interview went extremely smooth! I also showed my portfolio for JROTC and the interviewer was really appreciated to look through and make a photocopy 
When they don’t contact you for interview and you know you screwed RIP

I’m super nervous about Columbia lol. I really wanna keep working on my other essays too (which I should because I’m so close to being done) but I can’t make myself just sit down and do it anymore because I keep hoping
Relate 100%. Working endlessly on UC’s at the moment.
