Anyone ever got accepted without SAT II scores?
I went to the Columbia Transfer Information Session. They said that they do NOT require subject tests for transfer admission or first year admission. They scrapped the SAT II score requirement.
I honestly wish you guys good luck for the upcoming decision. The road had been tough and you are the only person who knows what you went through to believe in yourself enough to apply. I am not the smartest person out there, but I believe in myself. No matter of the results, I will still be proud of myself! I sincerely hope you will do too.

Been rejected from Cal and Cornell. Columbia is my #1 choice and I feel like I’m going to be rejected.

@chingchingli I’m glad it made your day! Because, As I always said, at the end of the day, it’s God’s will. If I don’t get in, it was simply not meant for me. enjoy your day and stop worry!
@lbmoney I’m sorry for you :(. I know how rejection can be tough! I’ve been there before. But keep hoping because you never know. Just be proud of everything of have accomplished so far

Does anyone know how good Columbia’s financial aid is generally? I got accepted into Boston University a month ago from yesterday and they’re my #4 choice (Behind Columbia, Harvard, and Stanford). Unfortunately, I’m offered absolutely no aid besides the federal stafford loans…
Does anyone know if the financial aid tab on the portal is indicative of anything?
I clicked it and logged in (Columbia ID + DOB) and it says 2017-18 but basically nothing else and doesn’t have like a document checklist or anything. So…?
Got the same thing… Even says “Welcome _______” and “Current award Year - 20178-2018”

it’s literally terrifying me bc i had a vivid dream a month ago that i was accepted and it took me like a week to forget it so i don’t like it if Columbia’s playing with me rn, like there are 23 hours to go, I can’t be thinking about it through finals!!!

@tnufas From what I see on the Penn threads I fit the profile. I got my dean to write an additional letter and I wrote solids essays about my the summer program I took at Columbia. I still have hope but yeah this doesn’t look good.
@studboy97 Yeah I was definitely more confident about Penn than Columbia, but I applied for a specific program at Columbia (the Sustainable Development major) and gave specific reasons why that program was perfect so I am hoping that helps me out. Not feeling confident now though
