Hi all,
I’m a junior in high school and I would like to know if I’m on track for admission to Columbia. I’m in absolutely in love with New York and the university. I want to pursue a career in business, politics, or law.

GPA: 3.8 unweighted/4.6 weighted
ACT: 36 (10 on writing)
Haven’t taken SAT yet

Junior class load: AP Physics 1&2, AP Language and Composition, AP Human Geography, PreAP Calculus, AP Calculus BC, Honors Medical Interventions, French 2

Senior class load: AP Environmental Science, AP English Lit&Comp, Biomedical Innovations (medical internship), French 3 Honors, French 4 PreAP, AP Government, AP European History

Extracurriculars: President of Young Democrats Club, founder and president of Young Advocates for Feminism, Northern Regional Director for Alabama High School Democrats, Student Government, all the honor societies

Volunteering: math tutor at Bob Jones High School, Breakfast Buddy (mentoring program for elementary school students), track/cross country meets/local 5K volunteer, Madison Democratic Party volunteer

Increase your GPA and need something stellar in extracurricular activities (internship for a Representative or Senator). Columbia is the third hardest school to get into in terms of acceptance rate (<7%).
