<p>These regional information sessions are a good opportunity to ask questions of Columbia admission officers before finalizing your college application list. I'd be delighted to hear in this thread what you learn from attending a regional information session.</p>
<p>Bumping this thread to mention that many of these meetings are put on with the other members of the Exploring Educational Excellence consortium, namely Brown University, the University of Chicago, Cornell University, and Rice University, so these meetings allow you to meet "peer" institutions as well as Columbia. You may find these meetings helpful as you plan your applications. </p>
