Columbia University Science Honors Program

When is the test, and how do you sign up?

i think they've already signed up. when are you guys taking it btw?

my admissions ticket arrived today
and the test is next week

I got my ticket in the mail yesterday. The test is next weekend, April 5th. I think you had to be recommended by your guidance counselor or teachers or something and submit an application.

lol i dont think u had to be recommended by anyone, just fill out an app. but you had to GET a rec from a teacher, but I didn't even have one and still got in.

Columbia only sends applications out to schools within a certain distance of the college. You have to get an application from your school to try out.

Good luck to everyone taking the test this week!

any1 in room havemeyer?

any1 in section havemeyer room 309?

i'm in 517 hamilton

So the test is tomorrow, guys. Hopefully you all feel more prepared than I do! For the test, you don't have to wear anything special or dressy at all, right? I'm planning on just wearing jeans.

Just took the test today, how did everyone do?

The first two sections were quite easy but I think I completely messed up the last one (challenge) .. I left around 7 or those 20 questions.

i only answered 12/20 of the challenge- is that enough? i'm a freshman

i just took the test today too

i breezed through both math sections
i found the challenge remarkably easy (102 on AMC10)

but the science was harder for me
i never took earth science or learned about circuits

we will see

Yeah I took the test today also. I was in 614 Schmerhorn. I thought the science and first math section were easy. For the challenge section I answered 17/20 - It wasn't that bad. I really want to know the results now!

I though it was going to be a lot harder.

Took the test yesterday in 513 Hamilton.

Does anyone know how many people they accept?

I heard it's about 300 to 400 people

if any of you could help me guess what my chances of getting in are...

im a freshman...

i answered all of the science
all of the 1st math
and 13 of the challenge part

is that enough?!?!?!

the test is always on the same day as NYSML, which is very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very retarded.
