Columbia University Transfer Fall 2011

haha Cloudy I share your exact sentiments. I DO not want to be on this site, I should be working on my paper, but alas here I am.

@ Kazzar - Just e-mail them and just inform them about some things that have changed since you last applied.
I did the same thing, as I was fortunate enough to receive two grants from NIH and be a delegate to NMUN.

@thestorm Yep, I should be reading the Patriot Act right now, but, yeah. That’s not happening today, lol. I wish Columbia would just TELL us already. NYU’s deadline was almost a month later than Columbia’s, and they already got back to me! I know I’m probably getting rejected, but I just need the confirmation, lol.

Zester,

Did you receive a reply when you emailed them?

Anyone still do not have their score shown on the account? I’ve called them yesterday but it seems that no one answered and I dropped off the line. Should I call them again?

@SwaGGeReR - I sent it via snail mail. It got their, I asked via phone.

@EchelonSapphire - I called them asking about my transcript, which online says it’s not received/not processed. The admissions staff reassured me that they have it (heck, they even read it to me), and said not to worry.
The reason why they haven’t updated - I have no clue.

As for a decision date, I was told it would be BEFORE or ON May 15th.
May 13th sounds like a good number… Friday the 13th, oh yeaaah.

@Zester
Thank you so much for your information. I guess I wouldn’t bother them anymore then… wait for destiny to come…and good luck to you and everyone who apply!

still no word on number of applicants/expected number of admits?

Just wondering if anyone has any new information? Anyone talk to admissions lately?

i called admissions yesterday… turned out they did NOT have the stuff that wasnt reported online soo… id suggest everyone check that has not already

still no information on when the decisions will be released…?

@ylmc123 someone said it’s gotta be before May 15.

just a fyi for everyone, penn’s releasing on the 12th so that seems like a plausible date.

The official website says that they’ll be released “by May 15”.

Time to start praying.

i just called. may 15th is the date.

They post it on Sunday? That’s so wired…

Decisions will be released on a Sunday? Highly doubtful.

haha im just telling you what the admissions officer said to me!

I didn’t mean that you were making it up. I am sure that is what they said, but I guess they should look at a calendar! Lol!

Are we supposed to receive an email before 5/15? Anyone get an email ?
