Hi,
My major is Mechanical. I am accepted in Columbia, USC and UCSD. They are all MS program.
Now I am wondering which college I should choose. My future goal is to finish Master Degree and then to get a job industry.
So any thoughts, guys? Appreciate all your advice.

do you have financial issues? if you’re from california and you can’t really afford full tuition at private schools, obviously UCSD is probably the most affordable choice. if we’re talking quality of education, on the other hand, Columbia is definitely the place to go.

Thank you so much. I am a student from China, and actually they do not afford me any financial aid. It is hard for international student who apply for master program to get financial aid. If we skip the element of tuition, which one is better to choose. As I know, the USnews ranking in Mechanical Engineering: UCSD > USC > Columbia.

^ bump I’m in the same!! Minus the China and Columbia :D

Go to UCSD if higher ranked + better weather + better opportunities in Silicon Valley.
