<p>I'm currently waitlisted at Columbia. A couple of days ago, an admissions officer called my guidance counselor asking if I was still interested. Of course, she told her yes. Does this mean I have a good chance of getting in? I still haven't heard any news yet. Any advice is appreciated!!</p>

<p>Thanks! I’m just not sure because in the phone call she was very vague and just said she wanted to bring my name up in the discussion, which sounds to me like I still have a long way to go.</p>

<p>I remember from last years thread that a poster who posted that his/her counselor got a call from Columbia was eventually accepted. Don’t take it as a guarantee, but I think it is a positive sign! good luck!</p>
