Waitlisted

Nancy got into SEAS

wait listed, since my grades this semester are not that decent, and they want most recent transcript by June 1st, can I inform them I am not able to send it?

yeap, and for those of you who'd like to see my stats:
Sex: Female (Asian)
Year: rising junior
College: Cornell Engineering
Major: ChemE
SAT: on the lo side of SEAS ave. but probably didn't matter much as I'm applying for 3rd yr standing
GPA: 3.7ish
ECs: club officer, translator/interpreter, undergrad research, volunteering - nothing too impressive
Essays: probably pretty convincing
Hook: definitely b/c I'm a girl engineer from Cornell
After all SEAS is MUCH EASIER to get into than CC, so I guess I got lucky.

rejected
rejected
rejected
wohooooooooooooooo

waitlisted.

does anyone know how many people were waitlisted? can we send in a second recommendation now?

waitlisted

rejected...

hey i got rejected but i was wondering, does everyones letter have the heading from the fu doundation school of engineering and applied science? I don't want to read into it but i applied to cas so i thought it was odd.

very disappointed......

hope2transfer0,

I think the letter header is the same for both SEAS and CC...well, it wouldn't matter much, would it?

Columbiahopeful!,

don't feel so bad; I was also waitlisted by CC before when I had applied right out of HS. Remember, CC, after all, is ranked 9th in the nation, the competition is expected to be EXTREMELY INTENSE.

Accepted ^^ SEAS
