<p>I hate to say it (well, I love to say it to myself ;-) ) but I guess I'm the first to be accepted to Columbia College then! </p>

<p>Congrats to the other lucky ones and the equally deserving other CCers. I applied from West Point though, which while not academically superior, presents its own kind of stressors that could skew how the AdCom read my stats. I can put up my stats if anyone is curious but I feel like a moron compared to the 4.0ers and 36 ACTers who shouldve gotten my place. </p>

<p>I'm pretty jubilant because this morning I got a younger sister and brother (twins!), so a pretty exciting day all around. Again, my condolensces to the waitlisted and rejected amongst you, but on the bright side, I'm sure most of you get to talk outside your dorm rooms and can walk around without fear of imminent hazing!</p>

<p>Well, my HS grades sucked (3.1 UW) and SAT score wasn't awesome (1440), so I guess they care more about college work (3.86) and ESSAY (9.5/10).</p>
