Columbia's SHP program

I have heard that this program looks bad to colleges. Does anyone know why that might be true? I don't see how a program can actually look BAD.

bump...............

Why would it look bad? I did it during my senior year and I got into a bunch of great colleges...it's very difficult to even get into the program, which makes you stand out in the Metropolitan area.

I went. Made some great friends. Went to a great school last year. Going to a great school this year.

Wow I feel dumb for not looking into it...I would have been a lock.

By the way folks, the New York Academy of Sciences has a program. It's called SRTP, and it's great! (in a tyrone biggums voice)

im in the SHP also, its not bad, it looks really good to columbia they said, and mr blaer said he would write recs...

and it is a really cool program, i met some friends also, its not bad. and you take classes of your choosing, the only thing is spending saturdays in the city, and who wouldnt want to do that? :-)

it may not be the best looking program (curing cancer and building rockets for nasa look better) but im sure its fine. what is the program anyway?

It looks REALLY good to Columbia. I stress really.
