ColumbiaURC

Who is this annoying spammer? It's unclear if s/he is purporting to be posting as an official representative of Columbia, and it's certainly inappropriate behavior to the extent s/he isn't authorized to be posting as such such.

^agreed. And what’s the point of copying from news articles?

pton has a similar person who posts news articles all the time, so who knows. but i think for the pton board it is helpful and nice to read ‘good’ things here and there.

both of you may disagree.

i’m more neutral, it doesn’t seem as if a lot of views go into them.

seems weird!!!

Why on earth would anyone consider ColumbiaURC’s posts “annoying”? Why don’t those annoyed call out some random “Chance me?” poster instead, of which there are many? Or perhaps some well-intentioned but ignorant “Chance me?” respondent? ColumbiaURC’s posts are informative, unlike most. ColumbiaURC, I hope you stay on board. And thanks for your helpful posts.

PBR, since you want to know why I (and two other people on this thread) find his/her posts annoying, the following is an excerpt of a PM that I wrote to ColumbiaURC. I find the chances threads likewise annoying, but they don’t put Columbia itself in a bad light.

It’s also potentially plagiarism and a copyright violation.
