Is being on the COM floor in Warren a good idea, or do you think that limits you too much? Also, I heard that like only girls are on that floor, which although isn’t necessarily a bad thing, if it turns out that they aren’t cute then i’m gonna be in for a long year.

Haha well put, bro. I don't have any advice for you though sorry.

Well no matter what the floor will be half male half female. That's how all of the floors in Warren works. Of course there are some all girl floors, but the COM one is not one of them.

I lived on the SMG floor in Warren so I can only give you that perspective, but it's similar I'm sure. I really loved living on the floor especially as a freshman. It definately created more of a bonding experience for us. It's only limits you friendwise if you let it. Just be sure to join clubs, explore others floors in Warren, and put yourself out there. You will easily make friends with people in other schools.

Warren does have a COM floor (14C) that is all girls. (My daughter lives there.) There is also a coed floor (11C). I think she was a bit disappointed to be on the all girl floor but she has made good friends and does enjoy the all COM environment.

anyone else?

lostandfound5...

can you give me more info on being on teh SMG floor for warren? what was the social scene there?

and if im doing SMG, do you think west would be too far from the buildings id be taking classes at? that's what im afraid of, so i'm choosing warren and towers.

In my opinion west would be too far. Warren was definately a great experience for me. In the beginning of the year we all hung out together and socialized. Good example was when just about 40 of us went out together for dinner for this girls birthday the second week of school. As time went on we didn't ALL hang out together as much as we started to form our groups of friends and get involved in extra curric.

Now of course the situation might not be exactly the same because it won't be the same people. But you're all taking that same freshman management class, with lecture at the same time. So it's fun in that dorky way to all go to breakfast/lecture at the same time.

I definately recommend it
