combination

I am not quiet through with this. Supposedly an applicant gets need based aid, $2800, gets a merit award, say,$3000 and gets a scholarship, say Global leader scholarship that waives his tuition. Is the school going to combine all those financial aids towards his cost of education?

You need to contact the college. Some schools will allow stacking of different forms of financial aid…and others will not.

The ones that don’t…your merit award would reduce your financial need…and they could reduce your need based award.

Aren’t you an international student? Wait until you get your financial aid packages and see what they offer you. Some college websites list awards students may be eligible for, but some will stack them and others won’t. If you have a question about a particular college, call them directly.
