Combined B.A./M.A. in History

Was wondering if anyone had link to all 5 year accelerated B.A./M.A. history programs in the United States? Looking up for a friend on Google, could find anything useful. Any help appreciated.

I'm sure many schools allow students to do this.... This seems like the kind of thing about which a student would contact an individual institution.

You could probably earn a BA and MA in history within five years without any special kind of program.

I see the 5 Year BA/MA history thing advertised on certain college websites - I doubt they would point it out if it could be done at all colleges. So no definitive links, guys?

bump it up

Assumption College in Worcester,MA has a great program!

Actually, it's quite possible at a number of colleges. Usually the student completes curriculum requirements by the end of his junior year and applies for the MA program. He completes graduate level courses his senior year and fifth year before being awarded the BA/MA degree. Coming in with plenty of AP credit makes it feasible at many colleges. The more important question is WHY would one want that? A PhD is needed for working in most fields of history.
