Combined Engineering/Business Program?

Is anyone currently attending a combined undergrad business and engineering program who would recommend it to a young woman who is a good student with current SAT's in the high 600's across the board? (She's a high school junior.)

This could be a program that includes a Masters component (e.g., 5- or 6-year program) or just an undergrad program. But she's specifically interested in programs that combine the two fields rather than in just a double major.

For example, Drexel U's Bachelor of Science in Business and Engineering is already on her list. (LeBow : Prospective Students : Undergraduates : Undergraduate Programs: Business and Engineering :)

I think that Penn's Jerome Fisher program in Management and Technology (THE JEROME FISHER PROGRAM IN MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY ) is beyond her reach, though she may consider it.

I'm especially interested in hearing from students who are actually in such programs (or recently graduated) or from their parents, rather than from those of you who might be suggesting programs with which you don't have first-hand experience.

Thanks!

Consider Lehigh’s Integrated Business and Engineering…

[IBE home](http://www.lehigh.edu/~inibep/)

Thanks. I know she’s already been to Lehigh, but I’m not sure if she’s specifically checked out that program.

Well, Cornell engineers can do AEM as a minor.

Rutgers has a 5 year Industrial Engineering MBA program

Thanks very much for the suggestions so far.

Are any of you in the programs you’re suggesting? It would be helpful to know some of your thoughts on pros and cons.
