Combining engineering & business

Yo,

Do u guys know any programs that combine engineering and business besides Penn's M&T and Lehigh's IBT?

Colleges that have many opportunities to double major/dual degree may be fine too (if there isn't a specialized program).

Thanks!

I am actually in the same position looking for programs like this. So far I haven't found any other than what you listed but you can always double major.

bucknell has a fairly new five year program in which you earn a bs in both engineering and business:

http://bucknell.edu/x20347.xml

Check out CMU's 5 year Comp.Eng/MBA program

I don't see any practical reason for pursuing a bachelor degree in business and engineering. It's fine if it is to satisfy your intellectual interest.

According to U Penn's M&T Program,

you get higher paid jobs, companies are more interested in you...etc

Or is that just b/c they want to attract ppl to their program?

more input.....................?

Compared to whom? Wharton grads?

I don't really know, something like that is put on M&T website.

I saw something with the average salaries of all graduates from Penn...it is true, average Wharton salary was something like 55k on graduation, and average M&T salary was something like 60k, but after bonuses etc, the difference would basically be negligible (like 85k to 90k)

Franklin Olin College/School of Engineering: www.olin.edu
It's "New Ivy" everyone gets a full tuition scholarship
Great Campus, everything brandnew
Cross registration with Babson College for the business classes

Washington University in St. Louis has an Engineering BS-MBA program. You apply for it by Feb. of your Junior year. You must complete the app. for admission to Olin School of Business, you should have a cumulative gpa of B+ or better and you must take the GMAT. Applicants are judged on undergrad. performance, GMAT scores, summer and/or Co-op work experience, recommendations, and personal interviews.

May not be what you look for exactly, but close:
