Comcast email addresses not receiving decision emails

It's now two days after the decision email should have been received, and there's been nothing.

We phoned Harvard, and were told that no emails to Comcast email addresses (comcast.net) had gotten through.

We contacted Comcast, and they said Harvard would need to initiate a "Blocked Provider Request Form" to begin the process of fixing the problem.

We believe if Harvard were to agree to initiate this process, the fix wouldn't take effect until well after the 2008 applicants had all already received their decision information through the regular mail.

That's a real pain. However, we have Comcast email and my son received his notification on 3/31, so what Harvard said does not appear to be true. Did you check email on the Comcast website? Maybe it ended up in the screened mail folder. Do you have restrictions on incoming email set in preferences?

He also received his acceptance in the mail yesterday (but we are in suburb of Boston) so maybe you'll get snail mail today.

comcast user here, we didn't get the email, but the snail mail came today and our son's been waitlisted. It's better than a complete no, but now our suffering has to be extended to the beginning of June or so. Ugggg.

same here, no email

i guess ill wait to get my mail today then

No email and I just got the mail and nothing there either. This is so frustrating.

We only live about 20 miles from Boston, so that's why we got the decision today, just in case anyone was wondering.

Thanks for that information. I am not really hopeful - but it would be nice to know.

The same thing has been happening with alot of sbcglobal users as well! ><"
