Come to Bulldog Days!!!

Hi CC,

So basically, every year, there are admitted students who are unsure of whether to attend or not, for various reasons, (distance from home, crime rate, preppy vs laid back atmosphere, etc...) and this year there's also the DOE investigations(my year it was the Annie Le murder...). I just want to say that as much as anyone can tell you on the internet(I will personally tell you that I have never either felt unsafe or sexually marginalized at Yale) it really is a personal decision and there is honestly no other way to truly know than to visit.

If you've signed up for Bulldog days already, great! If not, I strongly urge you to do so. I think visiting last year during Bulldog days(despite having visited before) was incredibly helpful to me in getting a feel for Yale(I'm still in touch with my host). Whatever decision you make by May 1(or before :) ) make sure it is YOUR decision. Come to New Haven, come see us!

I would add that even if you’re sure you’re coming to Yale, you should still come to Bulldog Days, because you’ll meet a lot of people and find out about campus organizations.

See
You
There
!

(Edit: and then in August for good…)

I think the deadline for registration already passed.

Given the historically high yield of admitted students, the majority of kids you see at BDD will be your future classmates. That program, along with pre-Frosh programs like FOOT, enable you to start the year with a few more friends which must ease the transition. The BDD program looks amazing but exhausting!
