comeing to america for school

i dont know where i should go to school, im a top student in india but i dont think im good enough for american schools

i want to major in computer engineering ,because that is all the rage and ihave confidentce that i can get a passing gpa

what are the recomendacions?

i really think you should improve your spelling skills…lets face it, they suck…

You’re a top student from San Francisco, India, who can’t spell … hmm.

^The last time I saw a map, San Francisco was in the United States!

Hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahaa

idk why u guys reacted 2 this ■■■■■, it was obvious.

oh jeez, leave the OP alone

Mancini, if you are a top student in India then you should have no difficulty at all in American schools. Indian schools are 10x more competitive than American schools, and Indian students tend to be much brighter than American students, especially in the maths/engineering/sciences.

As it is, American students don’t need top marks to earn admission into a good university. Therefore you should find it easy to come here and good success.

Best wishes to you.

Indian schools are 10x more competitive than American schools, and Indian students tend to be much brighter than American students, especially in the maths/engineering/sciences.

I doubt that highly… I guess it just shows our arrogance saying that.

Brown folks do kick some serious butt with all the geeky math/computer/science stuff. No doubt about that! We suck otherwise. :)

Your post history doesn’t add up! Nice try though! You sound very American on previous posts & very California…

Ya that’s only cuz Indian parents and society push Indian kids to succeed no matter what in high paying fields ie medicine, business, engineering.

Also, Indians have more of an incentive to do well.

WRONG REASONS TO GO INTO COMP ENGG!

Choose your major base on your interests/passions and NOT becuase it is all the ‘rage’ and because you can pass the tests!

If you are a top student in india, there is no reason why you can’t do well in America too! Just work hard and be confident and you will do awesome!

OP was a spoof. u think one could make those typos unintentionally?

I swear!

By the way, what does OP stand for?

original post/poster

Actually, in India, kids tend to share the same computer and, thus, CC account, so it might just be multiple posters sharing one CC account.

Analysis of OP’s post tells me that he’s the real deal. recomendacions <- That is normally how recommendation is spelled in parts of Europe, and Europe is the continent right next to Asia, so I can see how the Indian person got that word.

Haha, no that isnt the spelling. :)

Indians learn British English, not American English. Hence, we spell color as colour, program as programme, check as cheque…

Some Indians are however exposed to English spoken in Europe. Part of Europe is Spain, where recommendations is spelled recomendacion.

man i didn’t know spain was part of europe. when did that happen?
most spanish ppl i know r from central or south america. i have bad concepcion.
