Coming down to the wire. transfer college decision

If you had a choice which college would you attend?

FSU
Uni of Pitt
LMU
Syracuse
Uni of Maryland

It all depends, each individual’s criteria for choosing a college that best fits them is different. You may chose your college based on academic reputation while I may chose mine based on social life.

Tell us the most important factors to you. Out of all of them, for academic reputation, I’d say depending on the program of study that you cannot go wrong with Syracuse or University of Maryland.

What’s your intended major?

Well I’m just asking ya’ll if these where the colleges you where accepted to where would you go… not necessarily if you where in my position.

I’m just looking for a school where I can be focused on academics and has a large alumni connection specifically in banking. Possibly play football if I somehow get the motivation

You should also consider where you think you might want to work after you graduate. Ie, Pitt may be better for the northeast while FSU would be better in Florida and LMU in California. I think Syracuse and UMD would be a little bit more known nationally, though if you think you’d want to work in say Washington DC, UMD would probably be best.

will certainly keep this in mind^^

bump…

any other inputs??

If you don’t mind the cold I would choose Syracuse. It has a strong alumni network and is relatively close to the banking hub of New York City.

yes syracuse was my top choice but the cost is getting to me. i receive a full pell grant, and syracuse would provide me with a 13K grant. last year my family was eligible for the pell grant and my sister received a 33K grant from USC.
