Coming down to the wire!!!

Guys I need help with my college decision. I want to major in Aerospace engineering. My options are as follows:

Ohio State: Full cost of attendance scholarship, (Eminence Fellows), Exclusive one on one mentoring and research opportunities, Honors College,

Michigan: Would need to take up about 40-60k of personal debt there. Got a scholarship for $45k over four years.

Notre Dame: No financial aid package yet, but loved the campus and the student experience there. About $120k personal debt.

Virginia Tech: Accepted into the Honors College, would have little to no personal debt to go there, parents would pay for mostly everything ~$22k/year.

My question is, is it worth to turn down such a prestigious scholarship at OSU to pursue one of my other schools? Is UMich or VT's program worth the extra debt? Also is it worth to go over $100k in debt to go to my dream school? Any thoughts would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

In my opinion having to pay off triple figure debt after college is not worth it. Granted I haven’t even been to college yet, so what can I say, but for me, I’d rather not have to pay off the equivalent of a small mortgage right out of college.

Go with Ohio State, ND and UM aren’t worth those amounts of money.

Go Buckeyes!

Why “No financial aid package yet”? Did they say one is forthcoming?

Is it that your parents would like to see VT? Would they help as much at UM?

My parents can afford to pay around $30k a year

“I want to major in Aerospace engineering”

This is what makes it a little difficult. However, I’m thinking in the back of my mind about the early 1970’s when people said aerospace engineers couldn’t find jobs. IDK.
