<p>How hard is it, from those with experience, to enter boarding school as a junior? We have one considering doing this. I did so many, many years ago and it seemed to take 1/2 year to get settled and make good friends. I also recall feeling like as soon as I got settled, it was time to talk about leaving (college planning)! For this reason, I don't think being a junior/senior boarder only is a great thing.
However, I am wondering if the experience is the same for kids nowadays.
I loved boarding school, but think I would have benefitted mor and felt more of a life long connection to the school had I gone for 3-4 years rather than just 2.</p>
