coming to campus twice

Just wondering for those who have had huge time gaps in their schedule, did you find it really bothersome to go to a lec/discussion, go home, and come back 4-5 hours later for another lec/discussion?

not if you’re living near campus (i.e. walking/biking distance).

no not really but i am usually not too productive during breaks @_@ so i try to minimize breaks as much as possible or make myself stay at a library to study and be productive

It’s not really that bad. There’s no reason not to study, eat, etc. as usual during those gaps and if you live close to campus, going home and coming back later shouldn’t be too bothersome.

I definitely work much better on homework when I know I can sit in my room and work on it for the rest of the day, as opposed to having to go back to campus for a class later. So I always try to minimize gaps.

1 hour breaks are annoying because it’s hard to get any real studying done, but 4-5 hour breaks should be fine. If you live 5-10 minutes from campus, going back home shouldn’t be an issue. Although, I sometimes prefer to just study in the library during the gap instead of going back to my apartment. It takes me 25-30 to go to my house from campus and back, so instead of using that time walking, I prefer to use it for studying on campus.
