Comm. College Transfer question!

I am currently enrolled at a Virginia Community College in a program for an Associate's in Business Administration.
I will complete the requirements for the degree next fall.
I am trying to transfer to William and Mary afterwards.

After I transfer I want to major in Philosophy and minor or double major in Physics.

However, I think it would be nice to complete some physics prereq's after i get my associates and before I transfer, and I will have already done my Lab science requirements for my associates.
That means if I take some extra Math and Physics classes it will be unrelated to my Associates.
Should I stay at my Community College and get some transferrable prereq's done for Math and Physics, or transfer and just do it there?

William and Mary transfers as many courses as you want, there's no maximum credits allowed when transferring.

The CC will obviously be cheaper.
I've always studied Philosophy on my own time, and have taken a couple classes at my CC in the subject. I had a change in heart recently and decided I wanted to major in philosophy and not Business Admin. I still want to complete my Business Associate's since Im so close to finishing.

What do you guys think as far as completing math/science prereq's before or after I transfer?

Talk this over with the advisors at your CC. Students change their majors and add new ones all the time. I have not heard that any of the CCs in VA require students to leave after X credits, or that the Us in VA refuse to admit students with more than Y credits. However since you want to attend a particular university, you need to know what that U expects you to do.

If you are receiving (or expect to receive) any financial aid, discuss your plans with the Fin Aid office. You can only receive Pell grants and federal loans for a certain number of semesters.
