Comm. Question and Chance Me, Please!

First, just a question- do I have a better chance of getting into Arts and Sciences than Communications, if I transfer over afterwards?

Please chance me- I'm completely aware that NU is a major reach for me because of my GPA, but it's my favorite school so I'm going to risk it and apply ED.

GPA- 3.50 unweighted.

APs: Psych- 5, Literature- 4, am taking French and English Language this year.

SATs: reading- 780, math- 610, writing- 750.
retaking one more time in hopes of boosting math.

ACTs: 31.

SAT IIs: literature- 750.

Extracurriculars: my strongest point, obviously can't counteract grades but still helps:
Varsity Softball Captain
Invisible Children President
Mock Trial
Newspaper News Editor
Literary Magazine Copy Editor
Town Newspaper Reporter/Photographer
Volunteered for 2+ years at Senior Citizen Home

I'm a strong writer, and I think that my essay will definitely help me.

I think that I am going to apply to the School of Communications. I did a Marketing internship one summer, and a Creative Writing program another summer.

Again, I know my chances are low- but I'd love feedback. Thanks!

Additional Information: My public school doesn’t rank, but I’d assume definitely top half of my class, maybe top quarter. My school is extremely competitive and very small- 100 kids per grade. the top 10 students all have above 4.0 averages.

I would apply to the Comm school; that’s where your interests seem to lie and maybe (just maybe) that math score won’t hurt you as much.
To answer your opening question, you do NOT have a better shot at Weinberg that at Comm. I suspect the opposite is true.
Good luck.
