Hello! I've got a friend who lives on campus at CWRU, and is in a Summer Semester, right now, clearing up their last credit hour reqs for their Undergraduate Degree. They qualify in all other facets, and once this summer course is over, they will have all necessary classes and credit hours. Will this individual be able to get their degree at the end of the Summer Semester(classes end July 30th, but we've not found anything about Summer Commencement)? They filed for Intent to Graduate a few days after the deadline, but it still allowed them to do it.

If not, the next Commencement is in January - will they be able to file for intent to graduate then, without being enrolled in an active semester, or do they have to enroll again just to get their degree? If they can get their degree without needing to be enrolled in a semester, will they need to physically be at the Commencement Ceremony, or can it be mailed to them?

The advisor on campus has no answers to any of this(and seems blatantly unaware of who anyone is), and my friend is too busy with schoolwork to bother the office, so I'm asking anyone I can find for help on this matter.

Thank you for your time.
