Commit to TWO Schools??

Okay so i am deciding between unc and uva. However I have only visited unc bc i had to cancel my uva last weekend bc something came up. But anyway I am really leaning towards unc and it might be better bc i am a bio major. from what i understand unc excels in the sciences and uva excels in the humanities and i want to go pre med then med school. Anyway uva offered me a full scholarship. while i have yet to hear about my finaid from unc. after calling the office they told me it might not even be ready by may 1! so i might accept uva, but is it possible to accept unc too. bc i really want to go there but i just need to know my finaid..

It may be risky to commit to two schools, because if someone from UNC or UVA finds out what you’ve done, both offers of admission may be rescinded. That being said, you should raise hell to the finaid office here to get your package (or maybe you can ask admissions for an extension on your decision until you get your finaid package? idk how this all works anymore), because it’s not fair for them to ask you to choose if your finaid package isn’t ready.

I’d definitely call the admissions and finaid offices at UNC and the admissions office at UVA to see what’s up.

Yeah, definitely call financial aid and tell them you can’t make your decision without that information. That’s a totally reasonable request.

thanks guys. yeah, your right that is probably the more reasonable thing to do.
