I committed to a college but want to drop out and enroll in another school before may 1st? how does that work?
Your’e not dropping out because you’re not enrolled. Students sometimes change their minds; it happens. You’ll probably lose your deposit but I think you just have to e-mail them and let them know.

Please rethink your choice. Many students have second thoughts. Frequently your first impression is the right one.

You’re a CA resident who needs an affordable college to get a teaching degree because your parents can’t pay much, right? Did you decide to attend SF after all? If so, send an email to the college whose admission you accepted to let them know you changed your mind then send a deposit to the other college.
I hope you’re not still planning on borrowing ~$100k for undergrad.
