So right when the common app opens, this means that the schools listed as members of the common app, will accept finished and ready apps for review?!

Not necessarily.

Some schools are rolling admissions and will review your application as soon as it is ready for review. They then inform you of their decision as soon as they can. However, other schools who do not do this might not review your application until a certain date. Even if they do review it as soon as you submit it, they won’t reveal their decision until the time they stated.

Thanks for the reply!

Some schools may require a school-specific supplement in addition to the common app. Last year some of the supplements weren’t available at first.

Also, the common app includes submissions from your school counselor, teacher recommendations, transcripts, test scores, etc.

Some schools will wait until your application is complete before reviewing.
