Looking and reading the CA essay prompts for 2016-17 and I have a question for people who have already gone through the whole college process or just anyone. How did/are you choosing the prompt to write about? I feel like I have something to write about for each of the prompts, but it might sound very very generic…
I’m class of 2017. Don’t try to fit an essay into a prompt. Write an essay that you feel would most accurately and uniquely portray yourself as a person, then fit that essay into a prompt. The prompts are broad enough to fit almost any topic. Good luck!
Prompt #1 on the Common Application is broad enough to include anything you might want to write. So take the advice in the previous post.
