I am planning to apply to colleges on May/June and I heard that common app accounts gets expired every July. So will there be a problem if my common app account gets expired before I receive decisions from colleges?
What colleges would you be applying to in May or June? The American college process is basically over then and doesn’t restart in earnest until later, like August.
To SUNY colleges for the spring session that will start on January.

To be honest, it doesn’t look like SUNY uses the Common App…
Actually @bodangles, it looks like they do:

I’m thinking you’ll have to wait until August since the common app wipes out accounts at the end of July. I suspect the deadlines for spring are not until after then and you won’t be getting decisions that early.
Well, at least you don’t HAVE to (for some of the campuses?). They definitely have an application called applySUNY.
Common App accounts are deleted in July. I can’t imagine that if schools really have deadlines around that time, they wouldn’t give you other options of some sort.
Beginning this year, Common App accounts WILL NOT expire over the summer. New for 2016: Account Rollover.
