Common app activities

Two part question:

I have seen similar questions, but there's been conflicting perspectives so I'd like to clear this up. For the "activities" section, does anything that we do qualify? Obviously I wouldn't list "playing video games" or other unproductive things, but as someone who does not have great extracurriculars (as I think they are usually called) I'm conflicted on whether or not I should list things like piano lessons. The reason I'm hesitant is because every activity listed asks you to list position or honor. However for activities like the ones I just named they don't really come with honors or positions.

My second question is quick. What does "PG" stand for? My guess would be "post graduate" but that didn't really make sense to me either.

Thanks a lot.

That space is for putting details about your activity that wouldn’t be apparent just from the name of the activity.

On the side where the hints are, it gives the meaning of the acronyms.

Participation grade levels
The acronyms are as follows:
9 -12 = High School grades
PG= Post Graduate
FY= College First Year
JR= College Junior
SO= College Sophomore
SR= College Senior

Thanks sungoose :)
