Common APP Activities

My whole activities list is full; i have 12 entries. Furthermore, i entered three more activities and three more school-related awards into the Additional Information box. I have truly done a lot in high school, but when i preview my application, it looks like hyperbole. Will this raise any questions or affect me negatively?

Senior year, i am the president of 3 clubs. I had to actually drop a leadership position. Should i opt for not listing some activities?

List only meaningful ones. If you’re the president, go ahead and list it, but if you’re a member of a club by name only, there is no need to have that on your application. At a school like Chicago, passion is key.

^I agree. Admissions officers at top schools look for depth of involvement rather than breadth.
