<p>my son is using common app to apply to all of his schools and he has a dilemma on the additional info section of common app. Most schools say to use that area to expand on important and unique extracurriculars and future plans so he is doing that. His top three EC's, he is writing like a 100 words each to describe them and his impact and his future plans in college close to that. What other things do you think would be appropriate for him to put under there? He is describing and detailing some of the awards he got that he can't explain well in the common app activity section. And he is planning on describing his school's environment as well as restrictions and limits, etc cause he is afraid his counselor wont talk about it too much. He is applying to most top 20 schools. Is that kind of organization and content ok? I don't wnat him to do it if its gonna make the college ad officers get annoyed</p>
<p>Also he has a 200 word research abstract from a research he did, should he put it there as a sample of his work??
