I was just wondering what kind of things people are putting in this section or what the considered norm is. Thanks

any explanations of family or personal issues that have significantly impacted your grades

If you have something you want to say that you couldn't fit on your app, you can do that too.

I think I added a few awards or activities there that didn't fit into their proper places. I also said something about a college course I took and the grade I received.

olgita: There is a section on the common app for college courses, isn't there? I guess it doesn't matter, since you've already applied.

"There is a section on the common app for college courses, isn't there?"

Hmm...probably just forgotten. Does that section allow you to list your grade? That might have been what I put down in my additional info section.

bump.......

It only let me fit 7 courses, and I'm taking 10, so I have to put that in the additional info.

From what I remember, the common app college course section only asked you where you have taken college level courses. They didn't ask about courses or the grade. I think that's why I put my colleges classes/grades in the additional info section.

bump, interested in this topic.

I'm putting extra AP grades. I don't know what else yet.
