Common app and JHU app

I want to send the common app to JHU, however the only problem is that the supplement to JHU is a pdf file on their site. Does that mean I have to mail the supplement to Johns Hopkins and I can't do it online?

I've email JHU a week ago about this question and I still have no response...

you have to mail it.

Never mind, dumb question...I found the answer, you can do it online with the Common app.

Anyways, is it a good reason to submit the common app because I want to give them an additional essay? I feel like my two other essays ($10 and interesting class) aren't as strong as my common app essay. The only problem is that I gave my teachers and conselor all of JHU supplements, such as the teacher rec forms and school report, etc. Would that be a problem??

yeah i did the same thing, any one?

Dude, don't you still have to do the common app supplement and mail it to them?

If you can send it onlne, would you please provide me the link?

if i used the additional forms (teacher's recommendation, school report etc) from the common app, can i still use the jhu online application?

nomad - when you login to the common app, click "supplements" on top, then scroll down and you'll see the links to all supplements of your chosen colleges. hope this helps.

Well those links link to the Pdf file though dont they ?

no they're not pdf files. the jhu commonapp supplement almost look like the same as the jhu online app.

i had the same question.
i read somewhere that you cannot interchange the application. i think i read it in the checklist they gave you in the application.

Thanks a ton soporific. You saved me not only 37 cents but envelopes, ink, paper and the hassles of post too!!!
