<p>Okay, so if you JHU's app or the common, you have to do two essays, but by doing common youre sending in.. 4 (including short answer). sooo then, wouldnt the common app ppl have a certain advantage by sending in more works? or does jhu like not bother reading the personal statement? my personal statement seems a lot better and more reflective of my personality than that damn 10 dollar essay (which btw was a biatchhhh to write!)</p>
<p>I was under the impression that those 2 essays took the place of the personal statement as a double topic-of-your-choice kind of deal. I don't suppose it would hurt to include the personal statement, though. And yeah, that 10 dollar essay... I'd rather not speak of such annoyances.</p>
