Common App and NYU supplement

<p>If the common app already has a question that states "In the space provided below, please describe which of these activities (extracurricular and personal activities or work experience) has had the most meaning for you and why (150 words or fewer). " and then NYU's common app supplement states "Please explain how you decided which extracurricular activity on your list was most importnat to you" am i supposed to write two different responses? they're basically the same question..</p>

<p>I ended up doing both- and I got accepted. They definitely won't hold it against you :)</p>
