<p>Okay, so I'm getting ready to submit my applications on Common App, but have a question about assigning my recommenders.</p>
<p>I'm enrolled in a public school that uses Naviance, but do not attend classes there, and instead do my work in their online charter school. Because I'm part of their online school, I requested my online school teachers to write my recommendations. The problem is that my schools Naviance does not list these online teachers, so I have no way of assigning them on Common App.</p>
<p>The only options I have to assign recommenders are "Manage Recommenders" or "Add Another" under the "Other Recommender" box. I don't think these places are where teachers are suppose to be assigned though, they are for parents and coaches only, correct? </p>
<p>The other possible option I have is printing out an offline form, and having my teacher send that in to each individual school - the teacher still wouldn't be assigned though, so am I even allowed to do this?</p>
<p>Can my teacher just send in his own letter of recommendation in the mail, not the offline form? When my teachers rec gets to the admissions office, will they know what to do with it? Will they be able to use it, even though the sender (my teacher) isn't one of my "Assigned Recommenders"?</p>
<p>What should I do in this situation? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!</p>
