Ok, so I put a full stop in the middle of a sentence, where I should have used a comma.
It is a pretty bad mistake, I guess it will end up influencing their decision.

The question is, has anyone had any such experiences in the past?
Is there anyone out there who made a mistake in their app, but still got into their top choices?
and
Should I send them an email notifying them of the mistake?

Any feedback, comments, and suggestions wiill be appreciated.

Thanks.

RELAX! Mistakes happen. And that’s a pretty minor one - I had three typos in my Chicago app because I did it at the last minute (bad idea) and I got in EA. Don’t worry about it. Adcoms know you’re human - they aren’t going to reject you because of one misplaced full stop.

I really hope thats true :'(

same thing happened to me, but worse. In my short activity essay, my three dashes were replaced by this thing: . I didn’t see that it had happened, because I did my editing in in the writing box. My quick check of the print preview I guess just didn’t see it. Should I sent an email? The essay is still intelligible, but its a quite embarrassing situation.

Don’t worry about it, either of you. There’s no Typo Tally in admission decisions. Admission committees aren’t playing a “gotcha” game when they read your essays – they’re trying to get to know you.

Now it’s time to relax and wait for April. Good luck!
