Hi,
I’m an international student seeking to apply for school in the US. However, due to personal issues, I left high school when in 11th grade. A year and a half later, I’m now trying to apply for school in US, I got my test scores (SAT, TOEFL, and GED if needed), also I’ve got three recommendors including a college prof I’ve worked with back in high school, a graduate student who has been my tutor for years, and my supervisor at work. They agreed to write my rec letters.
Now I’m filling out my common app, but here are problems I have:
-
How do my recommendors send their rec letters? From what I learned, it seems they need to create a common app account (recommendor), receive my invitations, and then they could start the process?
-
It seem I’ll need a councelor to provide my school profile, who also need to write me a rec letter, but since I’m a non-traditional student(no longer in school), how do I do that? Should I contact with the colleges to address this?
And just for your information, my school doesn’t have a “councelor” for college application.
I appreciate your time and effort providing some help.
