Common App deadline still Nov. 1?

<p>So even though it seems that the deadline has been extended to the 11th, both Penn's website, as well as the Common App still says it's Nov. 1. Am I missing something here??</p>

<p>Penn will accept ED applications till Nov. 11. This is no doubt in response to technical problems that applicants have been encountering with this year’s common app.</p>

<p>Specifically from Penn’s web site:</p>

<p>“If you are experiencing technical issues, take a deep breath and clear your head. Please be assured that Penn’s Office of Admissions understands that students have encountered problems submitting application materials, and we will continue to accept Early Decision applications and school materials through Monday, November 11.”</p>
